  • catholicarchives.ie — A shared online repository for Irish Catholic archives, built on the open-source AtoM platform. Multiple institutions catalogue their collections here, making them searchable in one place.

  • AtoM (Access to Memory) — Hosting, domain, setup and ongoing maintenance at a fraction of the cost of commercial alternatives. Our archivist-led support means advice from someone who understands archives, not just servers.
  • ArchivesSpace — Dedicated hosting for ArchivesSpace instances.
  • eScriptorium — Handwritten text recognition (HTR) server for institutions with handwritten historical collections requiring transcription.
  • IIIF & Mirador — Manifest creation and hosting via mymanifests.com, Mirador viewer integration, and full Canopy IIIF sites.

  • archivicloud.it — Our Italian-language website, serving historical archives and cultural institutions across Italy. ArchiviCloud offers hosted solutions for AtoM, eScriptorium, and IIIF, with support from an archivist who understands both the technical and professional standards of the sector.

Open Source Tools

We believe in giving back to the archival community. Below is a free, open-source tool created by Boyne Archives and available to any archivist or records manager.
